My Cousins husband knocked this one down with his recurve. Said biggest smallest buck he ever got hardly any meat but big bones...field dressed at 208 IMG_8386.thumb.JPG.3b577baad0d9613d3c9ed62a95daab74.JPG

That’s nice looking too bad it didn’t have more meat on it

I'm just a billiard ball that's chipped and scratched and soaked in smoke and wine.

Yeah, I'm a little too stoned to keep up with the times

Here is one sow I took awhile back. Small sow's taste the best.fullsizeoutput_1612.thumb.jpeg.6c29ce6965c8d5d54b5bc300dd95f40f.jpeg

And this is a beast of a hog he took one to lung and ran and a hell of a racket before going down.5a21f5cdcf0c8_HogHead(Small).thumb.JPG.8004c5215a99b1e07d1600dfe779f0df.JPG

We don't get turkeys around my region. South of me closer to the border tho.

Be fun to do a hunting road trip down there with you guys. Have crossbow, will travel haha Excalibur Micro suppressor

I hear it's pretty easy in many states for me to bring my guns and crossbow... I can even carry my sidearm down there in a lotta places too i'm finding out :rasta.nana:

I started bow hunting in '74 I tink. My first bow was a Fred Bear super magnum 48" recurve (real short brush bow) at aboot a 65# draw, but I have long arms which added another 5# easy at full draw.

At my bachelor party, there were over 40 guys there, and no one could pull my bow to full draw, and to top it off I arm wrestled over a dozen guys who were man enough to try me, and no one put my arm down.

The first arrow i shot in the woods, I kill a nice 4 pointer. The biggest buck I got with that bow, I killed the morning of my wedding day. It was a huge 10 pointer.

I've used a few more Fred Bear recurves in the 52" (60#) but that super magnum was my favorite. I tried some compounds when they first came out. Didn't like them, but felt it would be great for the wimmin and pussy's.

Then I got serious and began making my own bows and my own arrow shafts, the way my Ottawa ancestors did. One in the picture is covered in rattlesnake hide. They are all 70#+ draw weight. The other photo is of one of my hunting grounds. I have lots of photos of some deer and an elk I bagged. I'll have to dig them up.
