1976, but I folded rather quickly. Felony cultivation. Got it tossed. Left growing alone for many years.

Greetings and well to the Lab brother @Dankdude

It's always nice to have another older head around the Lab.

I love the Kashmir line. Never tried it coupled with the TK. But shes a stellar cultivar. Bet its fire! #42 is one of my favorites. It was my number when I used to race karts. "The answer to life, the universe and everything"!

Well I started smoking at the Tender age of 9, the year was 1971. My older brother came back from Vietnam and it was my birthday. He rolled up a jay of Highland Thai, lit it, took a big hit, exhaled and passed it to me and said, smoke this, it will change your life.

The very next year, I was off of Ritalin. By the age of 15 I was learning how to grow. The knowledge I gained back then was from the hippies in the neighborhood.

I did a lot of gorilla growing back then. It wasn't until the early 1990s that I even considered growing indoors.

You came to the right place my friend. Lots of quality and talented cultivators here to share in the trip.

Enjoy the journey and thank you for being here to share in it with us.

My older brother came back from Thailand about then. Same deal. All I did was use drugs.

Well I was in Ritalin because I was diagnosed with ADHD and couldn't concentrate for more than 15 minutes at a time, couldn't sit still. Cannabis had me off those kinds of meds within a year.

Well I've overwatered and now I have to hope they recover. Let them dry out for a little while and see if they bounce back. 😟

The plants just wilted and look half dead in 12 hours. My wife and I will just keep an eye on it. I still have till the end of the month/beginning of next month to go. IMG_20230712_124407697.thumb.jpg.25de6b24273c9c4b197b1beba48e6689.jpgIMG_20230712_124441044.thumb.jpg.c0983847cac7a7abb0b89a8caf71a0a6.jpg

Well I put them out of their misery, good thing I did. Root rot.

On the bright side, I still have a cheese plant left. I'll finish it out so this run isn't a total loss. First time in six years I've had a failed grow. I've never grown in this heat and humidity before. Today was 108°F, humidity over 50%. I will use what I pulled in the near future to make edibles.

Well I figured out what has happened with the plants. The city increased the chlorine in the water to the point that they issued a boil notice. It's all good though, only using RO water from now on. Will do my nutrients and pH and EC readings.

Anyway, I started a new grow.

Sour Dubb X Trinity Kush S1

ECSD x White Runtz (Sour Runtz) S1

So far all four of my Sour Runtz have broke ground. Two out of the 4 Sour Dubb X Trinity have broke ground.

All seeds popped, now just get them from seedlings stage into veg.

Best of fortune for the next run brother.

I've lost a whole room to the heat before. Seen a friends room succumb to the heat as well. Didn't take long.

Well, I'm back at it again, this time I'm growing 4 Sour Runtz (ECSD x White Runtz) and 4 Sour Pretzel (BOG Sour Dubb x Trinity Kush) Sour Pretzel on left, Sour Runtz on the right. All feminized. From Goat & Monkey seeds (RIP)

I've finished that many in a 2x4 before, it gets a little tight in there, but it's doable

I can't imagine the vegged for long. 1 or 2 gallon I'm guessing? If I have much in it, I'm finding my 3x3 runs warmer than I like with my existing devices.  Really not excited about buying, then plugging in something else.

I do it in 3 gallon pots, I veg until 1 1/2 foot above the top of the pot. They finish about 2 1/2 - 3 foot above the top of the pot.

It gets a little crowded, but it's doable.

The tent is 5 foot tall, and the light all the way up is 4 1/2 foot from the floor. I can't grow plants that get too tall. I've done the two plant thing, I get about 4-5 ounces (because of head room), but with what I do here I get about 10 ounces. I sacrifice per plant production, but make it up in volume running sea of green vs Scrog.

I plan on buying a 4x4 next year and another light.

That's fair use of your space. I'd love seeing a picture with a fuller tent. You'll kill it when you get more space. Can you keep this for veg, then just flower in the new tent? If you don't have something in mind for lights, check @Smokin Joe. He's an HLG rep. Got me both my lights, besides being a great source of info. Made recommendations for my air system. I've had ZERO problems.

Just reading back thru. Saw your heat loss. Happens fast the smaller they are. I cooked some and anything/everything else you can think of to kill the small plants this year. My flower and veg environments are pretty solid. If it gets real hot OR cold I do a few extra things to keep things stable. I can't imagine having to gro in some of you folks environments. Impressive to even try! Seems like a spot for autos.
