Guest Johne71
@Trailerparkshinenope. This is my first go. I’m a middle age dude so I like these old school guys a lot. Some nice folks too. I picked up LifeSavers, Sour Grape, Sour Bubble, and Sour BLUtooth. Don’t want to get too much ahead of myself at once so I’m doing one at a time. Seeds looked great and some were huge. Popped quick. I did physically remove the seed shells, but they likely would have been fine. Link to comment
gorilla ganja
Subbed for the show, Best of luck and may all your Buds be Huge. Peace GG Link to comment
Trailerparkshine
Lol me too!.im still not sure how I ended up middle aged but since I’m here I might as well pretend to be an adult and shit...I heard the bogglegum is pretty close to the legit old school bubblegum.and I have also heard they are good peoples.like a lot of folks here in it for the live more than the stacks Link to comment
Guest Johne71
Nearly two weeks in...one seedlings (LS2) never opened its small fan leaves and then struggled to grow and died. Pulled it and root still looked healthy but it got culled. Link to comment
Guest FrostyColas
Looking good! Imma stick around for the ride and see how this goes. I've been interested in bogs work for years but havent purchased any beans yet. Soon I hope Link to comment
Guest Johne71
Nearly two weeks in...one seedlings (LS2) never opened its small fan leaves and then struggled to grow and died. Pulled it and root still looked healthy but it got culled. I decided I’d top these off with more soil just to explore the extra root development (or stem rot as I’m still new to this). As you can see above the soil level is about 1/2 C. Filled them up to just about 1” under the cotyledons. You can clearly see the new soil added through the clear cup. Link to comment
gorilla ganja
The roots should be quick to sprout off that virgin stem on the new seedling. Another couple weeks or so when you transplant them, cut off the cotyledons and the first, maybe even the second set of branches and fans. Then bury deep again, up close to the remaining branches. This is what I do to get strong vigorous branching right from the soil level. Don't over water and you will be fine. You like to grow nice compact trained plants. I think you will love this method. Peace GG Link to comment

Peace GG Yes sir this is what I do as well.i am usually more attentive with watering when transplanting.so I Find that I don’t have to worry about stem rot..not saying it don’t happen but usually I don’t have that issue.. Guest Johne71
I missed the 20 day update so I’ll do that as well as a root update. You guys were spot on with the stem concern and now I trust you. . This is day 23. Nice development. Gonna let them go a bit longer then move them to 1g pots to grow some more until I pull two more from flower. Link to comment

Guest Johne71
So out of four plants...I got a female. I moved them over to 11/13 about 3 weeks ago and was watching them daily. Thought I had a couple dialed in for a male and female at about 1 week. At about 2 weeks it was more obvious. I marked one a male and planned to grown out a single branch for a small pollen collection. At this point, I cull one of three remaining, and allow the single branch male to develop. Develop she did...that’s right. My male was really a female. Now a single brancher LOL. I moved her to a nice outdoor location to fulfill her life. Gonna finish this remaining girl inside for a smoke test. She’s about to finish her third week under 11/13 lighting. I’ll grab a photo soon. j Link to comment

Guest Johne71
Still progressing along. I’m not gonna lie. I lost track on dates for this grow. Once I put them under 11/13 lighting, I just kept this one blooming hence the small sized plant. Getting pretty frosty and I’d venture to say I’m just gonna harvest her when she looks ready. Guest Johne71
So I moved a clone from this plant into the ground in late Spring. This plant almost got cut many times because it grew like trash. The leaves always clawed and there was nothing added to the soil. The leaves yellowed early and looks like the plant hates it in the location I planted it. I had 6 other strains with no issues. I sent BOG a message and photo and asked it this strain needed anything special and I got “just keep her watered and fertilized.” I let her grow it out and I must say they buds look great in a plant that looks like total shit. I’ll share photos later. It’s a crappy day and I plan to take a few photos when I chop her down. Very soon. Lost my password for a bit. Be back soon, J Link to comment
