Guest Johne71
Just curious as to the process. I’m 60 days into flower and these calyx are (some) popping out with a lot more hairs. You can see in this photo. At first glance sometime they look like some bananas. Continue on with this plant is give her another week or so? Link to comment
Guest Johne71
Love the golden color of these pistols. Don’t look like like they get much darker. Link to comment
Coastal
That's pretty normal, most varieties will continue to try to reproduce by shooting out a few more viable hairs, but they can form fingers that suck to trim on some too... That bud looks great! I'm sure it wont matter either way but your resin will darken a bit and the high will change a bit if you go longer.. FWIW the white hairs dry orange usually so if they grow out more it can look a little less lime green..not sure if that's and issue for you... and there aren't too many. Link to comment
Guest Johne71
I appreciate your input @Coastal You mentioned 60-65 and I think my last indoor run I cut her at 56 days. This definitely looks better at 60 than it did last run at 56 days. My last run was also moved indoors and outdoors a lot towards the end of summer. My indoor is getting 65 at night now and it has done some wonderful things with those anthocyanins. j Link to comment
Coastal
It's crazy how many varieties pack on a lot of frost and weight in those last 10 or so days... but when you think they only really have flowers for 50 or so days 10 days is a lot! I only have a few varieties I've grown that finish properly before day 60 and a few it's because they get late flower nanners that make little white seed if taken much past day 56...but plants fully ripening without stress of some sort is fairly rare... If you wantvrwally fast harvests you can pump the potassium silicate up high when buds are forming and they look done at day 35! Crazy frost too... I see some of the seed guys do it to sell beans but the bud stops growing at day 30 or so and wont get much bigger so the yield is shit unless your just out to make extracts or seeds... the day 35 hash is real blond and nice though....
