I hope to keep up with this.  I usually only hit a few notes and end up with no photos in a journal.  This will hopefully give me something to reflect back on and hopefully help others as well.

I hear you on that one.

I’ve done it a few times myself.

I Just seem to lose interest in posting updates after a while.

My coco tomato thread is updated like every 6 months...

It happens.

If you want to see detailed documentation , go check out @Kind024 thread “spaceship earth” he knows how to document a thread

Thank you for the compliment brother @Ilynnboy. Idk if he can see that thread.

Hi brother @Johne71, you can check out the Black Triangle thread in the Bodhi section. Or the Stray Fox Gardenz section. I documented some testers for him a few runs ago. I documented some Mazar-i-sharif last season. That's in the Real seed co section. That one fell off a little toward the end. My daughter came to visit. Alot of other things started to build up on my plate like wood for heat and food for the freezer. The seeds turned out good though.

You're off to a great start. I like the way you used the template too!

Thank you @Kind024  I’ll see if I can navigate myself to check your page.  I like Green Bodhi a lot.  I haven’t tried his seeds yet, but just some kind interactions on IG.  Love the positive people.  Had I found his page sooner I would likely have too many strains than I’d know what to do with.  I’m already feeling like that honestly.
I’m 48 and thinking...average age and how many seasons I got left to test.  Tie that together with just the simple love of growing plants and ensuring the longevity of some of your favorite strains.  It becomes a lot of work for someone that does this just for personal fun, smoke, and family.  Really just my immediate family.

Thank you for the kind words and I look forward to learning a lot from you guys.  I’m definitely an eager learner and love to try new grow techniques.   I’m trying to stay away from any more Nutes.  I don’t want to get caught in the marketing game of the next great things.  Been doing this long enough to be satisfied with minimal expenses.

updated the Goji Pupil and since the three Grape Pupils can be seen in the photo I’d share the update here.  Slowed their initial stretch as I’ve been keeping them close to the lights.  Nothing special in way of lighting.  Just some kitchen fluorescent bulbs.  I usually start them here and move them as they get a little too large for the area.

I’ve never used this type of solo cup but they are kind of neat.  If you nest one in the other you can raise the height about 1” and give some air gap between the bottom of the inner cup. large.7E44F034-1BDF-4AD0-AB33-5C850C6DE02E.jpeg.df9544bf0e6ca8f12e4a603452267d88.jpeg

One week in so just a quick photo log of 7 days of growth from sprout.   Looking pretty consistent for the most part.   Plants are seeing 75-85 during the day...humidity varies a lot but I’ve been running a little diffuser in the 2x2x3’ tent which I can get 50+ rH pretty easily.   Also running a 600 watt Viparspecta which I have on a couple carabiners.   At nights temps are dropping to 68-71

Two week update. Transplanted three Grape Pupils over to 1g pots.  Gonna give them 2-3 weeks before one more transplant into their final flower pots.  Probably will only do 3 gallon  large.854B2F65-CCA8-432B-A9F8-E087D072AB52.jpeg.a027546fe1d3a5a961963030914bdd2a.jpeg

plants were finally drying out enough for their first water after transplant.  Mixed 6ml/L Clonex and 1tsp of Molasses for microbe population.

i never really watered them too much.  The soil was on the damp side already in the 1g pots.

Each Grape Pupil received 250ml from the solution above.

Four weeks from sprout today.  All three look great.  #3 is an inch taller than 1 and 2.  I may move these to get some more distance between them and the lights.  Trimmed them back to the 3rd node today.

All three got 350ml Clonex solution 7ml/L.  Also testing some Floriscious Plus (Plant, marine, and minerals) enhancer by General Hydroponics.  Testing at the foliar concentration of 0.25ml/L.

Week 5 of Veg complete.  One week after their trims.  #3 still in the lead.  Trimmed to the 3rd node and left the fans.

I decided to reverse the smallest plant Of the three.  #1 got sprayed with SPS solution about a week ago and put under 12/12.  They all pretty good.

Sorry I had the wrong dates on those two photos.  42 days today.

Very happy with these so far.  Nice and lush leaves.  They do like to claw and I have been keeping them on the dry side.  These are in a 2x2x3 tent that get pretty cold at night.  I had these sitting on a seed starter mat.  It was getting pretty hot on the bottom and the roots weren’t liking it.  Noticed a change not long Ofer transplant into these 3g fabric pots.
summary...

#1 got put under 12/12 (she was the smallest and got sprayed with STS solution to reverse.
#2 tied over and down.
#3 allowing vertical growth (for now).

@Johne71 I believe that you have to continue spraying the STS solution until you see balls.

Maybe @Pupilfam will chime in, I think that’s the solution he uses to make feminized seeds.

Hope you get tons of seed.

never seen grape pupil f2’s

I think the latest directions call for 1 -2 sprays then done.

Too many applications can cause sticky pollen.

Good luck!

Well to your credit, the info you provided were the best directions for the longest time.

This is pretty new info, not many know of it.

I was going off this...I made my own solution.  I was only able to find Silver Nitrate in a 1% solution so that got diluted.   It’s been 2 weeks today and I’m starting to see flower formation, but no obvious balls yet.   I did give her one more spray at 7 days into the 12/12.

Here is the largest (or was) #3.   She was getting so bushy I thought maybe some opening up would do some good and allow her to slow down a little.  Mostly because I’ve been home about 2 weeks now and I’m dying to do something.  So yea.  Massive trimming today at day 53.  Just left the two larger solar panels.
Again...just bored.   Not recommended for any other reason other than I like doing it.

@Johne71 those slow growers?

It has been a while since I’ve dropped any pot seeds in the dirt tough, so My memory is probably faded.

now that’s a haircut.

Are you taking clones or just going to make seed?

Very interested in your results as I have a pack of these in the dark...waiting..

@Usstoner what seeds did you pick up?

@Ilynnboy I don’t know if they are slow growers or not, but  I’m definitely a slow grower.   I know others say they can fill a freaking scrog in 8 weeks...not me.  This is what I see and why I finally started a journal so I can quit guessing every run.    That is the largest of the three...right about 12” at nearly 8 weeks.  Likely just my low cost LEDs.  I use Viparspecra 600 on them.  Hardly any nutes.

Interesting to see what will come of these! Hmm, I didnt want to offend by saying it was a slow lookin grow, but since you mentioned it, heres a few tips. I can see you've removed a lot of leaves, which really really slows down growth especially in veg and especially with pupil varieties. Other than that, if you wanna speed up growth, proper light intensity is absolutely crucial, as well as good air flow, and a larger root space will speed things up like crazy. Even vegging in a 2 gal pot instead of a 1 gal, you'll get a massive difference in the same amount of time, for example. Just a few friendly tips to hopefully help out. Did the reversal work?
