Try a few of classics lime skunk- Colmbian gold x acapulco gold - that you have. You have to get those kind of strains that have been worked. Classic worked his snow and coastal world of seeds etc..just get landraces make seeds & crosses. Those real good landrace strains from the old days (70s) are gone. Columbians Mexicans Thais etc..you can still find some decent stuff but the big name worked strains are gone. Those CG, AG,Thai sticks Vietnam black etc... I have a friend been living in nam for many yrs all the weed coming ouut of thailand nam cambodia etc is crap. We quit looking for lanraces over there about 8yrs ago.Waste of time. Nothing but long flowering comercial. The Thai sticks are huge about 1/4 to 1/2 zip from looking at them w comercial grade bs weed tied on them. Same w nam...like old mex comercial...they sell WW cookies OGs etc in nam Thailand Mexico Columbia etc.. now Those old big name landrace strains were mostly IBLs grown by families for decades and they were lost thru the yrs. The red hair sensi Oaxacan is long gone same w many other mex...lima limon etc... The Thai sticks from the 70s are long gone.Those fields been gone. there is a book called Thai sticks you can read about it. It was written by classics good friend or i think about him i forget which. But it tells all about that weed....and its been gone. I grew 2 and am growing now (Jack frost x classics fast thai) X (NL#1 x 70s Thai stick). Both finished around 9wks 1 was a pure thai pheno super speedy. I was actually thinking of Snowhigh's Panama Black which is a BCO Black Haze mothers (Purple Haze /Colombian Black /Columbian Gold) x (BCO Panama Red)Haze. I think I got a crazy pheno as the strain claimed 12-14 weeks flowering. More recently the Orissa Gold from Indian Landrace Exchange and the Mango Thai both went about 6 months on 12/12. I'm sitting on Columbian Black from Bodhi, Mango Biche from Cannabiogen, and Punta Rojo from ACE. I am actually hopeful when I get to these they are more reasonable! 3 1 Link to comment

texasjack Posted July 29, 2021 Share Posted July 29, 2021 Damn thats a hell of a list. Nice! I like sat dom strains...60-70% sativa. They usually dont stretch too bad. I'm not big on indicas. They make me tired and i miss the head hi.I keep smoking waiting for the head hi and end up getting sleepy. I has some Hindu Kush it was very potent but you smoke it melt into the couch eat a lot then pass out...i didnt like it. I have a few heavy indicas going now POA x Bubba/88G13HP and blueberry indica and 2 dr atomic NL#5 x Super SK x HP females in veg. If your sour d ibl is rezdogs its really good but it herms easy even in crosses. Some really good really strong smelling and very potent plants come out of those seeds. Those long flower tall sats are hard to breed and work indoors....you need lots of space. Classic was growng outdoor w mucho space and could plant 100s of seeds look at lots of plants.Much harder to breed indoors w limited space. 5 1 Link to comment

Kagyu(coastal seeds) was suppose to send me some of classics NLs pure but probably forgot.I had given all mine away. He is i think 77 and forgets a lot. I like and grow sat dom smoke but i dont grow those hazes and pure landrace crazy stretch sats....most peep dont. I grow stuff like this. My guess is these were about 60-70% sativa...9wks + or - ...potent w a lot of taste and smell.. everybody that grew or smoked it was well pleased. Classic Seeds (Chemdog x C-99) x (Chemdog x Sour Diesel IBL) it's a nice blend that favors the Chem in the crosses. It's a 8 -10 week flowering time indoors and done outdoors in early October. I like the looks of these but not sure about growing indoors... i dont know what flower time is b/c classic isnt around to ask. Looks like i would need the whole tent to grow 1. Very few peep buy those...i dont blame them.My buddy homebrewer loves to grow those. His fav plant is an old Kali mist 120 dy flower. If i'm not mistaken he grew that madness but wasnt thrilled w it. When I grew the long flowering satties I usually crossed with something reasonable to make them more indoor friendly. JAWS Posted July 31, 2021 Author Share Posted July 31, 2021 @texasjack thank you means a lot coming from a much better sat grower for-sure !.. i'm confused i suppose ahh because i am dropping these because i thought ppl were pretty much after some heavy sat's, at least that was the filling i was getting from the JAWS GENETICS ppl, may be i missed read the fillings on that. no matter i'm going to go ahead and run those two just for the hell of it. hell i just did a MADNESS hybrid and it was indeed MADNESS to grow, i can't even imagine growing it in the raw WOWWW. @Comacus indeed my brother i think it needed maybe 3-4 more weeks even then so ya it was a no go for me at that point. if either or both of these give me a decent useable female i will indeed breed it with most likely the alien cookies. COLUMBIAN & PANAMA COOKIES F1. now the AC are not indica dom but i think she will bring down the flowering time. not knowing how either grows i can not say that it will do anything else at this point, if they lack trich then the AC will bring that into play if there crazy with the node spacing the AC should tighten that up a bit. being columbian & panama red i would expect some decent potency if not the AC could help with that as well. once i get them going i will see pretty quick a few different things that i will not have to guess on, like i said before i'm only going to let them get 2 feet before flowering. i want to go with a three time stretch so at 2 foot if they do go three times i'll be looking at a 6 foot plant, bigger then i like to work with but i can manage that size for-sure. will get out my C bags in the morning and start hunting down the Columbian seeds, i have the panama already located. think i need to drop some YUM~YUM BUD f1 & SOYLENT GREEN f1 aswell. we shall see .. 2 Link to comment

Seems most shy away from anything past 10-11wks. I just learned a little from working w classic over the last 10 yrs ...a little from kagyu. I just watched them old guys working old stuff and landraces and asked questions. Seems they would pick short flowering sats to cross w those long flowering strains and sat landrace plants. Classic cut them a lot w C99 his Romulan ibl and PT all fast finishing sats. That way he keeps the hi but lowers flower reduces stretch etc... Cls Purpurea Tensinesus F-2 Purpurea Tensinesus F-2 these came a gift from a friend who was traveling to Europe he picked these up in Switzerland from a seed shop there they were from owl seeds if I labeled them right. It's a fast finisher outdoors done by mid September. If you are looking to breed some mold resistance to your favorite outdoor strain this addition to it will fit the bill without dominating what its bred to. JAWS Posted August 1, 2021 Author Share Posted August 1, 2021 a shot at the closet 2 days before they get moved into the 5x5. looking a bit beat up but there all in pretty good shape, by the end of the week they will have all been up potted and looking a lot better. also as you can see i FINALLY was able to acquire one of those new clone domes. this is something i have been wanting for shit 10-15 years and some company finally put them out to buy. it's double decker for taking and/or housing bigger cut's and keeping them longer in the dome. all 4 sides are straight up unlike the normal ones that have a slight up-n-in slant, and we all know how those work. very excited to put this new one to work not sure how many cuts i will be taking because i'm enjoying using all my limited space just for seed popping. for-sure going to grab some bubblegum cut's just incase this one is the one i'm after. the elvis hybrid as well i want to get a cut of all the phenos. peace .. 3 Link to comment

With adjustable heating - height adjustable - with 50W or 100W T5s if required. Not cheap but I wouldn't be without them now. Ideal for cuttings as the environment can be precisely controlled etc. All my growing activity is confined to a cold cellar but that's no problem with these. Just thought you might be interested.
