Homemade Lentils soup with Tomatoes, Onion, Jalapeños, & cilantro...fresh avocado on top. Homemade rice with some salsa verde on top. Homemade jalapeño veggie mix (Curtido de zanahoria, coliflor y jalapeños)...sour cream on the side with corn tortillas with Chiwuawua melted in the fold.

Beef Enchiladas...eye of round style. Crockpot a nice roast and season it appropriately. Cheese & Salsa...bake and chow 🤘🏻🤘🏻

My lovely wife made some steak tacos. Cooked to perfection, onion, tomato, Salsa verde, lettuce, cilantro, squeeze of lime, & cotija cheese on a corn tortilla.

Ok some cheese tortellini with morel, artichoke, & green pepper sauce. Garlic bread on the side from a bakery friend of the wife. Be back with some finished dinner pics but here’s the morels

Some Rubin inspired dinner tonight. Pastrami, Sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, thousand island dressing, & rye bread. Chips and a pickle. Tastey AF

Ok some Chilli tonight...hot AF for chilli but was last minute. Also this is a bastardized chilli I know...still tasty though. Not gonna give every detail but here’s the jist 
 

started with some 85/15 hamburger...seasoned and cooked with large chopped onion and jalapeños...almost cooked through but not 💯

So had a big Family Reunion this past weekend and one tradition is that my wife and I make Arrachera. Which is basically Carne Asada. We serve with homemade salsa and rice and guacamole. Anyway we had 30 lbs we cooked up but had some leftover so tortas is what’s on the menu. One of my favorites... 

 

toast some good bread, queso fresco, sour cream, tomatoes, lettuce, onion, avacado, salsa verde, carne asada, & Curtido de chile.

A friend of my wife’s makes some excellent cakes. We usually order for birthdays and such. Tres Letche is the style of cake & it’s really top notch. I don’t know the whole process but it’s the real deal and worth every penny. Anyway celebration for my Mothers birthday today so I thought I’d drop a pic or two ✌🏻
