Guest Pestrofa
These are a bit bigger now. When do you guys think it's safe to go outside? I usually plant tomatoes the last week of May. This is a mix of 3 Charlottes web × harley tsu, one 20 year old seed popped out of 7 of "OG Kush" my cousin ordered from Amsterdam when he was a kid, and 3 afgoo x 3 headed dragon freebies from DBJ. Slick rick
Everything in my hot house started budding so I had to put a light to get them a little extra light I always put thing in the ground May 20th I'm in NY/pa area Link to comment
Guest Pestrofa
Thanks, sounds about right. I've had them under T5 in a spare bedroom 24/7, but they're getting cranky. Need more light and warmth. Tent is in flower, otherwise they'd be in there. Link to comment
Slick rick
Just make sure to drop your hours of light before tossing them outside or they will jump into bloom going from 24 hours to 15 hours outside, I like too be around 16 hour of light then once it's time to go outside I put them in a little shade for the first few days! Best of luck on your outdoor adventure I had my worst year last year hoping for a come back heavy harvest this year! Link to comment
Guest Pestrofa
@Slick rick oh man, great Pro tip! So get them on a timer and drop the light by an hour or so every couple of days? Link to comment
Guest Pestrofa
Alright, we'll see how this goes. 25 gallon pot for the reveg of G Man's Kush. The rest are in 5 gallon pots. Maybe transplant when they show sex. Link to comment
Slick rick
Nice u can get some huge girls outside with a drip setup I would put some mulch or straw on top to keep water from evaporating I'm thinking about running sip boxes outside this year I'm getting to old to carry water Link to comment
Guest Pestrofa
Ok, the plants are looking good. A bit stretchy because of some cloudy, cold days. Alittle leaf burn that they are growing out of. The reveg plant is very interesting. Like a little bush. Also, the purple in all stems is resolving. Link to comment
Guest Pestrofa
So I'll tell everyone my secret, I might get shit for it. Osmocote plus. This stuff has been working great, and it includes all micro nutes. So far we haven't had to even turn on the drippers, lots of rain here in SE Michigan, and I mean lots. The Promix HP CC has been great keeping the roots aerated. The last picture is another buddy I helped out, gave him four of my reveg of BDG's Valley 13 (Apollo13 X Valley Ghash) and gave him a Useful Seed's Jungle Spice X Chocolate diesel. Spreading the love!! Link to comment

Guest Pestrofa
@imiubu thanks, yeah. I'm new to this, but it's like they are built for outdoor stealth grow. Lots of tops, and looks like it'll stay short. Forgot to post... I reveged my four Valley 13 (Apollo13 X Valley Ghash) from BDG. Helped my other buddy set them up on a different property, so he's got those and a jungle spice X Chocolate diesel from Usefulseeds.... Damn this rain, supposed to rain all week. I'm gonna try and time it for next year so I can reveg and get plants outside by June 1. Link to comment
Guest imiubu
What was used to write on the outside of the grow bags? Also... good choice of footwear IMO IDK why, I always notice people's feet/ footwear in their pix haha Link to comment
Guest Pestrofa
@imiubu haha! Red Wing Iron Rangers. Great shoes, probably had them 5 years, and no worse for wear. The marker is a Sharpie water based paint marker. I'll see how it holds up. Paint had a chance to dry, but I left some plastic identifier tags in the soil just in case. Link to comment

Guest Pestrofa
Steady as she goes. FINALLY had to turn on the drippers yesterday. Maybe premature because it's been raining all day today. So one of the runty plants had tons of balls/pollen sacks! Crazy! Does this happen this time of year? They weren't small either. Chopped it and tossed it. I can't believe I haven't watered this grow since the last week of May. Rains every day/other day. Link to comment
Guest Doug58
I'm just below the bridge and outdoor temperatures are still in the 40's at night or lower with it almost July. I have to put my autoflowers inside at night in my tent with LED lights. I left some outside for about two weeks that I planted on June 1st and they have nowhere near the growth of those I take in at night. The photoperiod plants I transplanted into the ground probably will never flower in time to harvest this far North with the cold weather and frequent rainy days. On sunny days I get around nine hours of direct sunlight then eleven hours under the LED lights and the growth seems better than when I was just running grow lights 20 hours and saves on electricity. Guest Pestrofa
@Doug58 so you're also a troll? Damn! Still in the 40s at night! We've finally had a few nice, hot, sunny, DRY days in a row. Haven't looked at the plants in a few days, excited to go look tomorrow. Link to comment
Guest Doug58
I live near the part of Michigan that is in the snow belt and records some of the lowest temperatures. Had temperatures in middle of June at night that were at 32 degrees. I had pulled a male plant out of a pot in May and threw it into a pile of sand outdoors and it managed to survive a few weeks until I purposely destroyed it. Link to comment
Guest Pestrofa
Damn! These things are taking off. Crazy what a few hot sunny days can do. Had to extend the grow area, and reposition everything. The osmocote keeps going strong! Link to comment
Coastal
Lookin good man! I bet they are happy for that extra room! Link to comment
Guest Pestrofa
Anyone know when SE Michigan goes into flower? I'm sure strain specific, but when's the safe time to stop topping? Link to comment
Kind024
Hi @Pestrofa, the plant can take 20-30 days for the hormones levels to build back up after topping. You want those hormones back in full swing before flowering is triggered. I'd stop topping now. Maybe thin some shading leaves and open the plants up a little if you still want to play. The plants look beautiful bro! They are going to fill that space nicely. "Be the light that lights lights that light other lights." C.R. Jr. Link to comment
