AVR1 821 Posted April 1, 2019 Nevil Martin Schoenmakers was an Australian-born cannabis breeder known for founding the first cannabis seedbank, which was called "The Seed Bank of Holland", in the early 1980s in the Netherlands. This was also the first seed company to advertise directly to the public in High Times magazine. This is only my humble opinion, but Nevil’s efforts remain the gold standard by which all else is compared when it comes to breeding and genetics. For better or worse it seems the beginning of North American Indoor coincided with Marc Emery’s heist of Nevil’s seeds in the early 90’s? Perhaps a topic for another day?
