Genetic heritage: Walter White x 24 Carat

 

Description: Heisenberg Special is a limited edition strain from Mephisto Genetics. It was created during the summer of 2015 and proved to be extremely popular among testers. It is a hybrid cross of Walter White and 24 Carat. It grows to just under 1 meter tall in 15 liter pots, not quite as tall as the Walter White, but somewhat sturdier and bushy. Leaf tucking was found to really encourage lower branch growth, due to the extra exposure to the light source, and resulted in plants with several colas rather than just the central one. The buds are nicely dense and covered in trichomes. The aromas and flavors include pepper and sour lemon, and the high is quite potent with a certain smoothness and balance. Harvest is between 65 and 75 days from germination with a yield described as medium to large.

 

I planted 4 of these on 9/24 and they all came up on 9/27. I have them in 1 gal pots

Still going....  These are the first autos I’ve done in years and they sure seem slow to me.  But they are starting to look good now.

interesting..... sure are frosty !

Only grown autos once and only had one female. afterthought auto azure rocket..... and it was really good tasty weed.

I have a buddy who enjoys growing autos and I've been impressed with some of the strains I've seen him grow so far.

seems there is a bit of a learning curve to get them thru the first few weeks with size and vigor though and is the trick to getting them to yield.

Will be watching to see how these turn out.

Well after 101 days they are done. I was only able to get a 1/4 oz from each plant, not great but I’m sure it would be better if I knew what I was doing with them.

 

They are sticky and the 24 carat comes through. They smell like sweet fruit.

It has a nice body buzz with a orange citrus flavor, the smoke is light with a bite on the backend

Mephisto has  great genetics and are great breeders. I have made some excellent hybrids crossing to some of their gear. 

All are good at producing weight.

@zoot   I never ran this strain but yours were stunted for some reason. They should have outgrown that 1 gallon and be transplanted to at least a  2-3 gallon pot at about 3-4 weeks of age.

What light cycle were you using?

I keep them in veg on 18/6, like I said I’m not sure what to do with autos so I let them ride out. 

 

I have some more of these seeds, I’m thinking I’ll go right into a 3 gal out the door and skip th transplant

They should respond to that . They are sensitive to transplanting, but with care It can be done with no problems.

So you kept them on 18/6 the whole time?

Yes, 18/6 the whole time. I have 2 more going atm and I planted them both together in a 5 gallon smart pot. Still in my veg tent on 18/6 and they are both short, not even close to what I’m seeing others do.

 

i guess I’ll stick to reg seed I have a lot better luck with them

Dude it's not all your fault..let me tell you some BIG secret that his cult worshipers called mephHEads dont wanna hear. Last few years isn't so Out of this world..

I had more than few failed mephisto grows, I had One similar small bud just like you, and I heard few other people having troubles with mephisto..

 

Try yourself some rocbudinc or some ethos autoflowers..

I ran a few mephisto strains a couple years ago,  they all looked great but tasted like shit.  I ran them in coco with canna coco a &b. I am running some twenty 20 Mendocino autos,  with a supersoil mix, hoping for better results this time.  So, far they a slightly slow, but looking healthy.

These are the twenty20 Mendocino autos 

Top one is trzzlersf2. The second one is Trix.  They got tied down a couple days ago,  I have limited height,  this is a n armoire that I converted into a veg area.  It's about 4 ft,  minus 6 inches for the light.  The light is a China special qb 2x 120 watt panels.  It's turned way down right now.
