Just put 2 more into flower today bringing me to 4, plus I have 1 more in veg that is also a female in need of repotting. The other 4, I’m feeling are dudes.

So that means we stand at 5f/4m out of 13 seeds.

heres a look at the ones flowering

If you can, move the males elsewhere and expose them to more light to delay them.

This will give the females more time to pack on the pistils.

I've done this a few times.

@zoot, this is a totally innocent question although it may seem otherwise.

Arent those Slow?

I almost asked you this question 3or 4 Times throughout this cycle.

I would think a Mountain Landrace would Grow Crazy Fast... Those must be miniature plants in their native Homeland?

@Doc_Gage any input? Do you have pics of the Native Population in Afghanistan that you received your original seeds from?

I am Not Slamming then, just supposing that they would grow faster.

They only had 4 nodes at 44 days of life?

The plants look developed just a tad small?

Again these questions are a part of me misunderstanding Wild-ish (land based genetic populations).

These have been worked by generations of Afghans, so the Landrace title does not apply to them ( in My thinking).

I have been doing some reading on European hashplants and I believe

They were most likely brought over from Morocco by the Ottomans...several centuries ago.

The Ottoman Empire loved hashish and spread Hashplant seed far and wide.( BTW Moroccan hashplants are Small compared to the trees being grown nowadays).

Maybe @TheMan13 phylos genetic testing will provide some answers about its ancestors.??

Did you get it back yet @TheMan13?

@Ilynnboy I say yes, they are slow to show. I’ve started other seeds that are  already showing sex.

I think there slow to show trying to develop a root system before the drought season comes? I’m just guessing though.

I have 4 in flower 1 waiting to go in and the other 4 are males so they’re gone, not looking for seeds.

Heres a look group shot at the 4 in flower

2 are 16 days deep and the others are 8 days in. Flowers are setting up nicely and the stock and branching are thick as hell, going to able to handle lots of weight.

@Doc_Gage I got some pics to see the  uniformity of all the plants, no real deviation between any of them at all.

Here are all 5 females, I stagger them in, a week apart in groups of two except for the last one it went in by itself.

This one I only left 4 branches on and removed all lower growth for comparing reasons to see how it does.

Looking damn good Zoot!! One thing I definitely noticed was how thick the branches/stem are....extremely strong and dense. Getting excited to see the outcome.

Agree, these plants have some of the thickest branching I’ve seen in some time, makes me wonder if that is due to its clean genetics? Hasn’t been over bred and abused.

Here are some pics of #2 that I took this morning. The flowers hug the main stock, I doubt I’ll need any support for these.

@Dogbite If you are located in Michigan I am always looking for solid growers who are vetted by this group to take part in this F2 search. Contact me if you fit this criteria.

I am interested in having these tested if possible, perhaps once you get to the end we can chat about it.
