blues147
Hey @zoot , here is a pic of my new hlg light, folks warned me it might bleach my plants if they got too close to it but all seems fine, these plants are drinking more than 2 litres of feed a day. I love this light and will def get another shortly. https://horticulturelightinggroup.com/collections/all/products/320w-xl-qb-v2-led-kit Link to comment
Guest The99who420s
@zoot Horticulture Lighting Group=hlg I am running one of their setups for flowering 480w ballast 4 QB288 in 3k with one of the big aluminum heat sinks. I put it together myself and saved 500$. Link to comment
Guest The99who420s
Here is mine the camera dimmed it down. Was like looking at someone mig welding. Wasn't expecting that. And some of wheezers blue romulan being grown under the led. Link to comment

Zoot
they appear to like the led just fine. These plants have super tight flower spacing, will need to keep a good air flow and the humidity down. Link to comment
Guest Doc_Gage
@zoot This is something I have been saying for quite awhile when I grew the F2's outdoor in the Lapeer area of MI. The node spacing is extremely tight and definitely needs a lot of airflow and proper pruning. IMO...their short stature is due to coming from 8000' in the Afghan mountains in the Paktika Province with mostly indica type traits. Hopefully the change in light source doesn't stress them, but I believe they are so strong that it would take much to stress them out. Yours are looking especially nice!! Here 2 of the outdoor F2 females I grew in the Thumb: Link to comment

Zoot
@Doc_Gage I might need to get another round of seeds and run them outside looking at yours, a thing of beauty. They don’t have that classic Christmas tree look, a lot more bushy, has to be due to the elevation they are from. Here is a photo update after the first week switching over to led. #1 #2 #3 #4 #5 Link to comment
Guest Doc_Gage
@zoot Like you mentioned before, those nodes are very tight and I am sure you have noticed how strong the branching is. I would definitely like to have yours tested, or at least pay you to have them tested (we need to chat on this). I would be happy to throw you some more beans for an outdoor next year! So far yours are looking spot on and healthy. Do you have a favorite as of yet? Do you also breed? Keep up the great work!! Link to comment

What size fabric pots are you using, 20gal? No favorites yet, they are all holding true to each other. They all have the same woodsy, hashy smell. Very distinctive stand out odor, earthy for sure. Tynehead Tom
haven't dropped in on this thread for a bit. Looking amazing! Would anyone object if I save the seeds I have for next year for a full season outdoor run instead of doing them indoor? I hate to sit on these but I'm at 52N , 3000ft elevation and would be keen to see what these will do here. thoughts? Link to comment

There will be a couple outdoor grows for next year, adding yours with a grow journal on here is a great idea and I hope you are able to do so. Sharing this first time information with these genetics is priceless=) Keep up posted on when you decide to do these outdoors. Thank you!! Link to comment
Tynehead Tom
cool.... and yes, I will absolutely be closely documenting and sharing as I go we are legal for 4 plants here now, which isn't enuff , but there's no size limits and we can grow outdoor on private property as long as they are not visible by passersby. So I have been talking to friends who could give me greenhouse space that don't have any personal use for weed..... got 3 so far so that will bump me up from 4 to 16 x 50 gallon planting sites next spring. We''ll see what happens Link to comment
Dog Star
In Winter time grow clones of 2 meter high and then repot in May outdoor so they have a great start... ;D LOL In this way 4 legal plants will give you 10 kilos of weed atleast.. more than enough for you.. Congrats on legalization @Tynehead Tom Link to comment
Enoch Warlock
Man that Sar Hawza looks nice! The structure is so unique for a high altitude indica. I have only seen hybrids with structure like that. Link to comment

Zoot
Day 42 flower They are setting up nicely and the branching and stems are super strong. Looking at how dense the flowers are going to be I am glad that I decided to top some of them. It will help with air flow getting through, better then 1 thick ass main line flower. Link to comment
Guest Doc_Gage
Very tight nodes and thick leaf structure.....imagine mixing these traits with something like GG4?? @zoot lets chat soon about the next chapter in your grow journal. Let me know the best way to make contact with you. Link to comment
Zoot
I imagine this strain would really help the structure of GG4 as well as fatten up the flowers on it. I wouldn’t want to loss it’s smell or flavor though, that’s already stellar to me. I’ll pm you Link to comment

Looking fantastic @zoot! I know you topped a few of these, did you happen to trim any fan leaves on these to allow light to pass to the lowers part of the plant? Link to comment
